St. Ives, Cornwall

Yet another week off of school for the boys!  We took a 5 hour train ride out to St. Ives, a seaside town in Cornwall, England.  Cornwall is very much like Cape Cod - a beautiful coast line peppered with quaint towns and villages.

Here is the Sloop Inn, a 14th century pub located in the heart of the village. We stayed in a little cottage around the corner.

St. Ive's winding village streets are full of interesting shops and pubs.

Our favourite restaurant.  It served two things.

The boys enjoyed the arcade (when did the games become so expensive?)

The Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Museum

 St. Ives is full of art studios - traditional seascapes to funky modern art galore.  Here are some shots from a pop-up studio designed for kids to create, draw, dance, etc.
