It is hard to believe but our boys turned 6 this year. Star Wars was the theme. 15 boys, light sabers and lots of adrenaline - what could go wrong.

Let the chaos begin
Beth and I created "light sabers" out of pool noodles and duct tape. In our heads the kids would be practicing their light saber moves while zapping bubbles coming from our bubble machine. In reality the kids just whacked the heck out of each other.
That is Beth recreating apparently recreating Princess Leia's famous "Help me Obi Wan, you're our only hope." scene.
Next was pin the light saber on Yoda.
"Pass the Parcel" a big English birthday party game where you pass around a gift that has been wrapped 15-20 times. Each kid peels a layer and gets a little present.

Finally, a Star Wars scavenger hunt. Classic clues such as "Jabba the Hutt is really fat. If he lived here, where would he keep his biscuits." and so on and so forth.
