Last full day for the Goryls and we decided to keep it local. We took a taxi to Beaconsfield to visit the Bekonscot Model Village. It is a very cool place. It is like stepping into a mini England world. Here is a little info on it.
Bekonscot Model Village and Railway is the world’s oldest and original model village, opening for the first time in 1929. With over 80 years of history, huge model railway, 1.5 acres of well kept gardens and finely detailed model buildings. Stuck in a 1930s time warp, see England how it used to be, and discover a wonderful little world tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The detail put into all of the models is amazing. It is a great place to feel like a giant.
Hello from across the pond, literally.
What on earth right? Right. Well we were waiting for our taxi and we needed to kill about 15 minutes. Auntie Stephanie was clever enough to start a game of Simon Says. I'm pretty sure I haven't played this game since middle school. It was fun to see the kids pick it up. Everyone took a turn as Simon of course.
The rest of the day consisted of playing...with play doh, playing doctor and playing destroy the room :)
"Lucy, I love you so much it is painful! Can't...let...go!"
"I'm not kidding Bean, you're staying."
Cousins or siblings?
This is a great picture for many reasons but I'll list two:
1) EVERYONE is looking at the camera, eyes are open and we are all smiling. What?!?
2) This photo brings me back to our first family vacation in North Conway (02/06/11). How life has changed since then!
Look at those baby faces...adults included.
Good night, sleep tight.
Thank you Goryls for making the trip to the UK. So many memories were made for everyone. I'm especially grateful for all of the photos you took Steph to document all of them. Love all of you so. xo

Looks like an amazing visit across the pond! I think I need to visit the Model Village to feel tall. :) I love the last pictures comparing the UK vacation to the NH trip. Love all of you! xoxoxo
