During the weekend of the Marlow Regatta we had the pleasure of viewing the
Gloriana headed down the Thames. It also happened to be carrying a copy of the Magna Carta to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the sealing of the document. See more here
Magna Carta. It was exciting to see!

Below is a picture of the bar Mark worked at most of the weekend. Mark is part of the Round Table here in Marlow- their mission is to have fun with a few social nights but also work their butt off to raise money for charities all year round. All of the drinks sold at the Regatta bar goes to charity. Good reason to drink right? |

They're not kidding.
Truth.
In other news, Mark was part of the Dragon Boat races on Sunday. The races go on all day and a lot of the teams dress up- pirates, chicken heads, knights, punk rockers, etc. It is quite a scene. The round table group went as themselves and they won the first race!
The boys are anxiously waiting for Dad to come down the river. (representing Boston)
Woo hoo! |
The Marlow Round Table Team
It must have been the lucky trousers.
