7 hours to take-off

And I'm getting anxious and excited all while feeling sad and nervous. Lots of feelings to manage here! The kids are hanging in there and we only have one more bag to pack.  I believe in total there are 14 items: 8 bags plus 4 carry ons plus 2 carseats. A very large van is picking us up! A note to self: ship more, pack less for the return home!!

The past week has been filled with such fun and our friends and family have been so generous with their time. We had a proper send off by the Bowers family and  the Currier family.  Two very fun parties! We also spent a lot of time at my sisters houses and time with some friends. Here are some pictures from our final week.

Henry giving Lucy a ride in the coupe across Auntie Stephanie's lawn.

Of course Oliver had to follow suit.

Some sandbox fun with Charlotte.

Painting at Auntie Rainelle's.

At the common in Melrose with the cousins.

At Shed Hill Park in Lowell with one of my favorite people in the world - Karen and her daughter Sydney.  Thy have a splash park too!

And we will never forget the night Auntie Maryanne came over with the Snoopy-snow cone maker! Believe me when I say it looks a lot easier to do on the box than in real life.  Maryanne worked really hard to make her nephews the perfect snow cone. They had a blast!

Saying goodbye to our family has been really hard and I know we will be back and I know it is only for 2 years and I know everyone will visit -  BUT I'm just sayin' goodbyes are hard. Period.

One last final thank you to my sweet, patient mother-in-law who really seemed calm within our chaos. If she wasn't - she was really good at hiding it! It was so nice  spending time with you. We love you very much.

Ok- this is it for now. Love to our friends and family! See you over there...that means all of you. :)
