Part 3: Glorious Weather in Hyde Park

I'm not sure what we did right to get the weather that we had in March but I will take it.  The day we went to Hyde Park (March 9) I would say it nearly reached 70. Seriously.  It was beyond amazing.  With the weather comes hordes of people too. I think all of England was out.  Hyde Park has the big pirate ship - so of course that is what we hit first. Good thing we arrived early because by the time we left there was a line of about 40 people deep to get in. They regulate the crowd, which is smart, but not sure I would stand in line with my kids and wait to get into a playground. In any case, we got in and we had a blast.

Ice cream at Kensington Palace!

The cousin love during the Goryl visit was unprecedented.  Of course, all of the cousins love each other and they have always expressed it. But as they get older, they are really showing it more and more. It is really such a sweet thing to witness.

We ran around the grounds in Hyde Park for a while- chasing, tackling, climbing trees- you know the usual.

Oliver and Lucy sharing their thoughts...

hugs...

"Some day Bean, we'll get to eat whatever we want, when we want and we won't need to listen to these big people-stick with me"

Once Uncle Craig did it...everyone had to do it!

Yay for beer! We stopped off at the Stag and Huntsman in Hambledon Village for a pint and some crisps.

Lets go see about some sheep!

Hams...

More hams...

and sheep.

The beginning of a piggy pile...

I can't remember the song that was playing but I think they were doing some form of interpretive dance.

What a day, what a day- so many smiles and laughs. Love it!
Oh and did I mention we drove into London and we didn't get lost and we were able to park. Good stuff!
