Well, what a birthday treat I had. Not only did I celebrate with Mark and the boys but around 9:30 pm these two gorgeous girls walked in and gave me a big birthday smooch!
The Goryl's arrived for their second time in Marlow and it was the perfect way to finish celebrating my day.
The boys had school the next morning but they REALLY wanted to see their cousins before they left (and attack Craig in bed). Look at these smiles!!
While the boys were in school, I took the gang out to lunch in Marlow and we fed the ducks on the Thames. Then we all went to Danesfield to pick the boys up from school. What a surprise the boys got to see us all waiting for them outside their classroom door! The rest of the afternoon comprised of chilling and catching up. Oh and Annabeth showing us her mad headstand skills!
The evening wouldn't be complete without a family wrestling.
Friday we were off to Windsor Castle. I love how these kids can pick up right where they left off.
We arrived right on time for the changing of the guards.
Four cuties.
Some take this much more seriously than others.
Seriously.
Twister came out a few times. The kids are much better than the adults.
Annabeth reading to everyone. Very sweet.
Saturday morning was filled with swimming lessons and some fun at the park. It was unseasonably cold day and we were all bundled up!
A little family jam session to make you smile!
Geocaching was something the boys really wanted to show Annabeth and Lucy, so off to the deep dark woods we went.
And then silliness ensued.
Craig showing his support for Britain.
The woman behind the lens. I'm 100% sure she got much better shots during her stay here but you will have to suffer with mine :)
Although there isn't a picture of it, we did find a geocache in this large stump.
Can you believe it? The four of us made it outside the house without children! I don't want to think about the number of years it has been since we have all been out together. Drinks, steak dinner, drinks, dancing...perfect.
The next day we went to Clivden Estate. It is a great place to walk around, go through a maze and have a little play.
Too cute Bean, too cute.
How many people can you fit in a tunnel??
We made it! We made it to the middle of the maze!! Amazing! (get it?)
Ahhh, a little game of Busy Town to calm the nerves.
After dinner we took some time for some family pictures.
I'm posting all of them because I love them that much.
Switch!
The night wouldn't be complete without a book from Auntie Stephanie. Love the snuggles.
Saying goodbye wasn't easy. We had so much fun and so many laughs. We look forward to many more memories.
Bye Goryls! We love you and miss you already. Thank you for making the trip out. It means the world.
